Yatra in Ayodhya

Kaushalya Ghat is a hidden gem located 100 meters away on the Parikrama route from Brahma Kund Gurudwara towards Rajghat in Ayodhya. This ghat has a rich history that connects it to the epic tale of Lord Shri Ram. According to the greatness of Ayodhya, Kaushalya Ghat is situated on the banks of Shri Saryu Ji near the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. It is named after Maa Kaushalya, the mother of Lord Ram. Legend has it that during the time of King Dasharatha, Kaushalya Ghat was near the palace, the stairs of the ghat were studded with gems and it is said that King Dasharatha himself used to bathe here. This ghat is also known as Rajghat, as described by revered poet Tulsidas ji in Uttarkand of Ramcharitmanas.
